I’m a huge fan of muted tones, much like Chase Jarvis has talked about in his blog. Having just one or two colors stand out can really help an image pop. In the past few days I’ve felt a little bit more colorful. Granted there is, in general, still only a few key colors in these shots.
Which one is your favorite?
One of the reasons I’m so glad I carry my camera with me every day to work…
I love how this photo turned out, multiple layers and textures.
I’ve been enjoying the macro these past two days. These notes had been on my whiteboard for some time, I took a few shots to experiment as I considered what interesting shapes or patterns may exist when I noticed this.
“Whoa! That’s English for Stop that Horse.” Matthew got a little carried away with the focus. That’s right this shot is out of focus… on purpose. I found it created a rather pleasing effect. Can you guess what it is?
Envision, prepare, observe, shoot… create. I really enjoyed the process of creating this photo. Some modest darkroom work to convey what I saw in the scene.
